We wanted to study The Symbols of Cities as the topic of the project.We named our Project as The Symbols Of Cities because we planned to design an electronic game DISCOVERING CITY and we used the symbols during our studies.. We determined our slogan as ONE SLOGAN THOUSAND DETAILS.

We studied with six students in two groups. Each group chose the city they would search. They were the cities İstanbul,Çanakkale,and Konya.

We aimed to search the symbols of these cities,and we also aimed to share information by the help of technology and include other people’s ideas into the project.That’s why we prepared a web site in Microsoft Office Publisher.

In the first stage,the students used GOOGLE search engine on the Internet and they made prior researches from the written sources They formed questionnaire paper in Word programme. In the second step,the questionnaires, which were prepared by the students, were applied to 600 people ,who had different education level, face to face and by means of Messenger and e-mails.

According to the questionnaire results, every city had symbols which were related to the characteristics of the cities.. In the next step we evaluated the results.

In the second stage of the project,the symbols which were revealed in the questionnaire results were used and writing designs (logotype) and riggings were made. The designs which were proved were transferred to the computer.. The hand drawings were re-drawn and coloured by the help of Microsoft Graphic Programs.

In the third stage,after the researches and questionnaires, we aimed to use these symbols and prepared an electronic game named DISCOVERING CITY. We were supported by an expert system manager.

In our final stage, we shared all our studies and presented them to the students,teachers,and parents at school.We also expanded our share web in our school web-site and in the web-site that we had already prepared.
